RESEARCH

Making sense of data in motion.

Doctoral work exploring the languages, placement decisions, and timing models behind distributed stream processing.

A stream is a way to think.

Data arrives continuously: a sensor reading, a measurement, a system event. Stream programming describes how that data is transformed through connected operations.

Vasvi’s doctoral research investigated how this model can support distributed applications, from energy-constrained sensor nodes to cloud-hosted clusters. Curracurrong is the research system at the centre of that work.
